  • Live music from Craig Hillis
  • Silent auction with treasures from local vendors

Where: Prospect House in Dripping Springs (there will be a live-stream option as well)

How: Tickets are $50 and can be purchased now @ fodscl.org/events

Our friends at The Prospect House, a wonderful Hill Country venue located off Fitzhugh Road in Dripping Springs, have generously donated the use of their beautiful facility for this year’s event.  We would encourage you to consider them for your next special occasion!

While you’re at the Prospect House, or attending virtually, be sure to check out our auction featuring a wide range of treasures from local vendors! The Friends are very grateful to the generous community businesses that support this wonderful auction. If you would like to get involved, follow this link for auction information.

The Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library has been a devoted group of volunteers for 35 years with the mission to raise funds and build support for our library. Pouring Over Books is the Friends’ primary annual fundraiser to support the community library in its efforts to serve its 11,000 active members!  Funds raised by the Friends at past events have been allocated to many beloved offerings and resources of the library including:

  • Children’s programs (including the very popular Meet the Ranger event featuring live animals!)
  • Little Reading Buddies Program
  • Early learning software and other library equipment
  • Summer Jazz Concerts on the Porch
  • Battle of the Books
  • Virtual cartooning events
  • Much more!
