“When we first hosted our first flea market a year ago, it was supposed to be a one-time offering,” explains Clay DeStefano, Price Center executive director. “It turned out that vendors and shoppers alike wanted us to keep it going,” he adds.
4th Flea is the only monthly flea market in downtown San Marcos. The unique site offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for the vendors who attend.
The Center is inviting returning and new vendors to participate in the market slated for this Sat., May 27.
“When we first hosted our first flea market a year ago, it was supposed to be a one-time offering,” explains Clay DeStefano, Price Center executive director. “It turned out that vendors and shoppers alike wanted us to keep it going,” he adds.
Over the past year, 4th Flea has hosted large and small events, including its largest of more than two-dozen vendors and nearly 300 shoppers that attended the October offerings.
4th Flea booths are available on first come, first served basis for $20 for a space in the Garden or $30 for a space inside the Center. Private and retail vendors are welcome and encouraged.
Participants will need to bring their own tents, tables and necessary display equipment. Set up is from 8-9 a.m. the day of sale.
A limited number of tables are available to use the day of the sale for an additional $10.
Proceeds from booth rentals benefit the Price Center, which is operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.
