Public Hearings Set For Proposed Single Member Districts For Buda

BUDA, TX —  In November of 2017, voters approved an amendment to the City Charter for the City of Buda to transition to single-member districts. Buda City Council Places 2, 4, and 6 will be the first to switch from at-large to single-member districts.

At the March 20, 2018 City Council meeting a proposed illustrative plan on the district lines for Places 2, 4, and 6 was presented. The City Council is now looking for public input on the proposed plan.

The public can participate by providing written comments (in conformity with the adopted guidelines), or by attending the two upcoming public hearings:
