Public meeting for Craddock bike lane striping project

Staff Reports

SAN MARCOS – The City of San Marcos will host a public meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Westover Baptist Church, 1310 Advance Street, on November 30, 2021, to discuss the Craddock Avenue traffic issues and proposed Bike Lane Striping Project.

The City plans to mill and overlay Craddock Avenue in late 2022.  In conjunction with the repaving project, the City seeks the public’s input on a proposal to reduce vehicular lanes and install protected bike lanes on Craddock Avenue from Old Ranch Road 12 to Bishop Street.

The public is welcome to provide input about this project and any other traffic-related concerns within the area.
