(Austin, TX) – The Rainwater Revival is back in Dripping Springs for its 6th Anniversary to be held on Saturday, Nov 7, at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. The popular, annual event is part festival, part educational series, and always a celebration of the ease, sweet taste, and wisdom of harvesting rainwater.
The free, daylong event features a main stage where rain harvesting experts and practitioners will speak throughout the day. Speakers include Richard Heinichen, Mayor of Tank Town, John Dromgoole, The Natural Gardener, and personal stories and experiences from the Home & Business Owners Rainwater Harvesting Panel.
More than 35 exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate the latest in rain capture equipment, systems, and accessories. As always, the Raindrop Stop for kids, food trailers, and noontime Texas swing music will deliver toe-tapping fun for everyone.
The Hill Country Alliance produces the annual “edu-tainment” event for the rainwater harvesting curious, novices, skeptics, and seasoned practitioners. Homeowners, businesses, urban and rural dwellers, homebuilders, developers, teachers, and students are invited to come learn about the ease and many benefits of rainwater collection, including a reduced impact on local aquifers, saving money on water bills, and the confidence of a sustainable water supply.
