Raise A Glass: Little Guys Movers Celebrates 25 Years, Makes Custom Beer

“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to brew a limited run of our own beer,” said Marcus Watson, co-owner of Little Guys Movers. “It’s something we can be proud of and enjoy after a long, rewarding day on the job.”

Little Guys Movers has been a staple in San Marcos for 20 years now, but 2017 also marks a mighty quarter of a century in business for the company as a whole.

To celebrate this momentous milestone, the professional moving company has teamed up with brewers at Audacity Brew House in their hometown of Denton, Texas to create “Little Guys Lifter,” a refreshing lager perfect for raising a glass to Little Guys’ big achievements.

The San Marcos release of the beer will take place on July 7th at Louie’s Oyster House & Beer Garden at 119 E Hutchinson St.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to brew a limited run of our own beer,” said Marcus Watson, co-owner of Little Guys Movers. “It’s something we can be proud of and enjoy after a long, rewarding day on the job.”

Founded 25 years ago, Watson and friends started Little Guys Movers with a couple pickup trucks and an appetite to live out their personal motto to “do right by people.” The company has since expanded to thirteen locations across seven states, and to date has completed over 250,000 successful moves.

The community is invited to join Little Guys Movers at Louie’s Oyster House & Beer Garden for the beer release and 25th anniversary party starting at 4 p.m. on July 7th. Guests ages 21 and up will receive a free Little Guys Lifter custom pint glass with their first beer. More information can be found on the Facebook event page.
