Rattler Transition Meetings: Investing In Rattler Futures

San Marcos High School will begin “Rattler Transition Meetings” during the fall of 2016 with the objectives to establish stronger relationships with students and parents, to communicate College & Career post-secondary options with parents and students, and to partner with students and parents to use available resources to seek out post-secondary options and meet students’ post-secondary goals.

 

Parents and their senior students will meet with administration, counselors, and College & Career staff for a 30 – 40 minute session. Once the session is complete, families (parents and students) may visit the Career Center to continue in the process and to utilize available resources to meet their goals.

 

 The session dates are as follows:

  • Monday, September 12, 6:45—7:45 pm
  • Thursday, September 15, 5:30—6:30 pm
  • Wednesday, September 21,11:15 am -12:15 pm (Bilingual) and 5:30—6:30 pm
  • Tuesday, September 27,11:15 am -12:15 pm and 5:30—6:30 pm (Bilingual)
  • Wednesday, October 5, 6:00—7:00 pm

 

The Rattler Transition Teams include Debbie Smith and Rebecca Newton (Academy Administrators), counselor Genie Rolfe (Arts & Communication), counselor Martin Coleman (Hospitality, Business & Law), counselor Stephanie Sisak (Applied Sciences), and counselor Megan Bading (Health & Human Services). Grace Delgadillo is the College & Career Center Support Coordinator, and Silvana Granados is the College Advisor / Advise TX.
