Robbery Reported On Texas State Campus

At approximately 3:20 p.m. yesterday, March 22 the Texas State University Police Department received a report of a robbery that occurred at the 500 block of Edward Gary Street in San Marcos.

 

The suspect pushed the victim and took a black and tan purse. The suspect is described as a tall, white male with short hair wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. The suspect was seen leaving the area in an eastward direction.

 

Anyone who can help identify the suspect or provide information about this incident is encouraged to contact University Police at (512) 245-2805 or San Marcos Police at (512) 753-2108 or 911.

 

 

The Texas State University Police Department would like to remind people to be aware of their surroundings at all times and to contact the Police Department if they observe any suspicious activity.
