Rio Vista Pool Closing for the Season – Open on Labor Day Weekend

Rio Vista Pool will close soon for the summer 2015 season. The last opportunities to use the pool this summer are Saturday, Aug. 29 & Sunday, Aug. 30 then Saturday, Sept. 5 – Monday, Sept. 7 for the Labor Day holiday from 12-6 p.m.

The pool will close for the season after Labor Day.

 

City Offices Closed on Labor Day

City of San Marcos offices, including City Hall, Public Library, Activity Center, and Utility Offices, will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 for Labor Day.

Texas Disposal Systems will operate its usual trash collection and recycling routes. Rio Vista Swimming Pool will be open for its last weekend of summer operation from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Saturday through Monday.

Offices will reopen Tuesday at their normal business hours.

 

Hays County:

Hays County offices will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. The regular Tuesday meeting of the Hays County Commissioners Court will not be held on September 8.

The next regular meeting of the Commissioners Court will be Tuesday, September 15; however, a special public hearing will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 10, on the proposed FY 2016 tax rate. A second public hearing will be held September 15 at 1 p.m. All meetings will be at the Hays County Courthouse, 111 E. San Antonio St., San Marcos and will be livestreamed and archived at www.co.hays.tx.us.
