San Marcos Animal Shelter Is Still Processing Adoptions

The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, which serves all of Hays County, is closed to the public but still seeking forever or foster homes for animals.

According to officials, shelter staff can help adopters and fosters find the next member of their household virtually.

The adoption lobby is closed, but adoptions are still being processed by appointment; for more information or to schedule an appointment call 512-805-2650 or email animalservicesinfo@sanmarcostx.gov.  

Foster pickups will be set by appointment only from 5 PM to 8 PM daily. Interested fosters should email bweigand@sanmarcostx.gov.
