San Marcos Announces Miss Beautiful Pageant and You(th) Can Do It! Pageant Winners

On Friday, June 7, the fourth annual Miss Beautiful Pageant took to the stage at the San Marcos Activity Center with former Mayor John Thomaides hosting and four contestants competing for the title of Miss Beautiful SMTX 2019. There were two portions of the pageant, beachwear and evening gown.

New this year, the You(th) Can Do It! youth age category was introduced to the pageant where four contestants competed for various titles. 

Angel Arredondo, Ms. Wheelchair Texas 2018, served as the special guest speaker.

Miss Petite America 2018 Bianca Xoyamayagua-Galvan assisted in announcing and crowning Miss Beautiful SMTX 2019

Judges Elena Duran, Jessica Burke, Aubrey Ashton, Gabi Perlinger, and Daniel Montemayor scored the contestants throughout the pageant to decide who would become Miss Beautiful SMTX, Little Miss Beautiful SMTX, Junior Miss Beautiful, and Little Mr. San Marvelous.

Miss Beautiful Pageant Winners

Pageant volunteers voted for the Best Smile – Kia Davis, Most Expressive – Elsa Sanchez, and Most Inspirational – Tori Krauskopf. These three women received flowers, a sash and a beach bag filled with beach accessories.

Third runner up was awarded to Tori Krauskopf. Tori received a bouquet, sash, and a $25 Visa gift card.

Second runner up was awarded to Kia Davis. Kia received a bouquet, sash, and a $35 Visa gift card. First runner up was awarded to Meagan Hearon. Meagan received a bouquet, sash, and a $50 Visa gift card.

Elsa Sanchez was crowned as Miss Beautiful SMTX 2019 by the reigning 2018 Miss Beautiful SMTX Kalene Spencer. Elsa received a $100 Visa gift card, a sash, crown, and a bouquet. 

You(th) Can Do It! Pageant Winners

Pageant Volunteers voted for Most Expressive- Chelsea Ashby and Most Inspirational- Diego Sanchez in the youth category.

The first runner up for Little Miss Beautiful was awarded to Kynlee Farquhar. Kynlee received a bouquet, sash, and $20 Visa Gift Card. 

Chelsea Ashby was crowned Little Miss Beautiful 2019 and received a bouquet, sash, crown and a $45 Visa gift card.

Brianna Ashby was crowned Junior Miss Beautiful SMTX 2019 and received a bouquet, sash, tiara and a $45 gift card. 

Diego Sanchez was named Little Mr. San Marvelous SMTX 2019 and received a crown, sash, bouquet, and a $45 Visa gift card.

Christina Trevino from Terry’s Day-Hab in Buda, Texas coordinated evening gowns, jewelry, hair, and makeup services for the adult contestants.
