“As emergency personnel respond to dozens of accidents throughout San Marcos, we felt it was important to keep citizens, staff and council members off the roads this afternoon and evening,” said City Manager Bert Lumbreras yesterday.
The Jan. 16 City Council meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 30 due to hazardous driving conditions.
“As emergency personnel respond to dozens of accidents throughout San Marcos, we felt it was important to keep citizens, staff and council members off the roads this afternoon and evening,” said City Manager Bert Lumbreras yesterday. “We look forward to completing today’s work session and agenda on January 30 and ask that everyone take extra precautions during this week’s freezing temperatures.”
The Mayor will present proclamations at 3 p.m., then will open a work session at 3:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins. The regular session will begin at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
