San Marcos Begin Remodel On Activity Center

Interior construction work will begin on Monday, Sept. 30, at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins, to remodel the locker rooms and restrooms attached to the natatorium and to replace the carpet in the entire building.

The pool may be closed periodically throughout this process, and an alternate route to access the natatorium will be designated. Private, temporary changing stations will be provided on the pool deck. The restrooms in the front of the building will also remain open for patron use.

The remodel project is expected to be completed within 120 days.  For more information, contact Richard Merritt at rmerritt@sanmarcostx.gov.
