San Marcos City Council To Hold Third Budget Workshop This Week

On Thursday, the San Marcos City Council will hold a special budget work session at 5:30 PM.

The council is slated to receive a staff presentation and hold a discussion regarding Fiscal Year 2019-2020 financial update and preliminary FY 2020-2021 Budget.

According to the agenda, the August 13 workshop will discuss direction and revisions from the prior workshops held on May 26 and June 30.

The public hearings and further discussions are held in September. The council is slated to adopt the proposed budget for FY 2021 on Sept. 15.

No public comment period is available for the work session. However, the council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on August 18 at 6:00 PM.
