San Marcos council to hold public hearing on Community Development Block Grant Action Plan

The San Marcos City Council is seeking comments on proposed programs and projects to fund through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2021-2022 Action Plan. Comments will be accepted during a virtual public hearing at the City Council’s regular meeting on Tuesday, May 18, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Members of the public interested in participating in the public hearing must email citizencomment@sanmarcostx.gov prior to 12:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. A call-in number will be provided. To view the meeting visit, www.sanmarcostx.gov/videos or watch on Grande channel 16 or Spectrum channel 10. 

A virtual stakeholder workshop will be held on Thursday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m. A Spanish translator will be available. A link to view the workshop may be found at sanmarcostx.gov/1496/Current-Open-Applicationson the day of the meeting.

Following the public hearing, City Council will vote on the proposed programs and projects during their regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
