San Marcos Crockett Elementary Teacher, Named As HEB Excellence In Education Statewide Semi-Finalist

San Marcos Crockett Elementary Teacher Named As HEB Excellence In Education Statewide Semi-Finalist.

 

 

Crockett Elementary School’s Brenda Butler was named a statewide semi-finalist in the 2017 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards, for the Lifetime Achievement Elementary Statewide Teacher category.

H-E-B received more than 1,300 applications from educators across Texas. From that number 150 teachers, 40 principals, and 25 districts advanced to compete at the regional level.

H-E-B Public Affairs Manager expressed in a letter to Butler, “You are helping to shape the future of Texas, and we thank you for your passion and your dedication. You are an inspiration to us all.”
