Austin Reptile Shows — Wednesday, June 13

Michael Foux, lead presenter and operator of Austin Reptile Shows.

Animal-loving kids will go wild when the Austin Reptile Show brings live lizards, snakes, and other creepy crawly visitors to the San Marcos Public Library on Wednesday, June 13. There will be three opportunities to see this awesome reptilian show: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. Pick up free tickets for the show at the library now.

This event is a part of the library’s summer reading program, which runs from June 4 through August 15, and helps children maintain and build reading skills. Pick up a reading log from the library, read lots of books, and try to win one of our grand prizes. The more you read, the better your chance to win!

Father’s Day Event Craft — Thursday, June 14

Don’t have a gift for Father’s day? Come to the San Marcos Public Library on Thursday, June 14, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., or 4 p.m. to make a special craft for Father’s Day! This craft is for all ages, but children under 5 should bring an adult to help.

Crafts take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. All supplies are provided. This event is part of our Crazy Crafts series. We have different crafts each week!
