San Marcos Main Street Names the September 2017 Business of the Month
The City of San Marcos Main Street Program presented the September Downtown Business of the Month award to Rick’s Lock & Key for their longevity as a Downtown business and their contributions to the local community.
Owner Rick Williams was working as a manager in San Antonio and became tired of always having to call a locksmith during employee changeovers. He made the decision to switch careers and opened Rick’s Lock & Key as a mobile locksmith service in 1981.
“As a longstanding Downtown family business who supports the SMHS Diamond Line, Rick’s Lock & Key exemplifies our award criteria for staying power and contribution to community projects,” said Samantha Armbruster, Main Street Program Manager.
If you know of a business within though Downtown San Marcos area which fulfills the above criteria and is worthy of this award, please contact Main Street at mainstreetinfo@sanmarcostx.gov.
