San Marcos Neighborhood Commission To Host Neighborhood Conversation For Section 2

The City of San Marcos Neighborhood Commission is hosting a Neighborhood Conversation for Sector 2, including Westover, Oak Heights, Castle Forest, Southwest Hills and La Cima, on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 6 PM at Crockett Elementary School, 1300 Girard St.

The event is open to the public.

Attendees will learn about City projects and programs impacting these neighborhoods and will have an opportunity to share feedback.

“These conversations help to bridge the information gap between residents and City staff about planned and ongoing programs within our neighborhoods,” said Neighborhood Engagement Manager Samantha Armbruster. “We encourage everyone to attend, whether it’s with questions, to provide input or just to come out and shake hands with your neighbors.”

Neighborhood Commissioners and City staff will be on-hand to answer questions and gather input. Additional Neighborhood Conversations will be scheduled throughout San Marcos through 2020.

For more information, please contact Neighborhood Enhancement Administrative Coordinator Tammy Strakos at tstrakos@sanmarcostx.gov.
