The Fall Family Tailgate is free to the public and features snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, games, prizes and more.
The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host the first Fall Family Tailgate on Saturday, Sept. 23 before Texas State University’s Bobcats take on the UTSA Roadrunners.
The event will be held in the parking lot at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E Hopkins Street, from 3-5:30 p.m.
The Fall Family Tailgate is free to the public and features snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, games, prizes and more.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Texas State Athletics is offering discounted game tickets for $20 per ticket through Sept. 8. Discounted tickets may be purchased at www.txstatebobcats.com/tickets using promo code FAMILYTAILGATE.
The game will begin at 6 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium, 1100 Aquarena Springs Drive. Event guests and game attendees may not leave their vehicles parked at the Activity Center during the game.
