San Marcos Police Department searching for burglary suspects

SAN MARCOS – The San Marcos Police Department (SMPD) is investigating multiple burglaries that occurred on the early morning of Sunday, January 23, 2022.

According to SMPD, multiple vehicles and two buildings were burglarized on Conway Drive between Mary Lane and Clair Street.

Photos of one of the suspects was captured by surveillance cameras at several residences, including a photo showing the suspect pushing a wheelbarrow loaded with stolen items.

“We know the quality of the third photo isn’t the best, but we want to show you a distinct tattoo on the suspect’s left hand that includes an outline of Texas on the back and the numbers 1985 on the knuckles,” SMPD said in a Facebook post.
