San Marcos Police Department Seeks Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, around 10 PM a white/Hispanic male in his early to mid 20’s, wearing a red hoodie, red pants, glasses and a flat bill cap entered the Sac N Pac Valero at Old RR 12 (1420 Old RR 12).

The suspect waited until all customers left the store and went to the cashier and pretended to buy an item.

When the cashier was ringing up the item, the suspect pulled a gun out of the red hoodie’s pocket with a crumbled up plastic bag. He took the money and fled on foot to a parked car on Sarah St. that took off towards Holland St.

According to police, the gun appeared to be a black revolver, and the getaway vehicle was described as a white or silver new model car, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am.

Anyone with information about this incident or about the suspect is asked to contact Detective Brady Templeton at 512.753.2317.
