San Marcos Police Searching For Suspect In March 10 Assault

SMPD is attempting to identify the suspect in an assault, which took place in downtown San Marcos earlier this month.

The San Marcos Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man who assaulted another man downtown earlier this month and caused severe injuries.

For reasons unknown, the suspect struck the victim causing him to hit the ground where he was knocked unconscious suffering severe head trauma.

The incident occurred Saturday, March 10, around 12:54 a.m. in front of the Hive, a bar and dance club located at 100 W. Hopkins in San Marcos.

To assist in identification of the suspect, video of the incident was released by SMPD, which can be found below.
