This week’s pet of the week is Rex. Rex is a two-year-old male Briard-Giant Schnauzer Mix who loves to run and play. He is very good with other dogs, and has a ton of fun wrestling and playing chase
He is also very gentle with people, doesn’t try to knock them over, and gingerly takes treats from your hand. He loves to be petted and will smile when rubbed behind his ears.
Rex is a longhaired dog, so he will need regular grooming, but looks handsome when his hair is trimmed!
Rex is available for adoption and until June 8, his adoption fee is only $50. To inquire about Rex, visit the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter at 750 River Road. The adoption center is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:30 to 6:00, and 11:30 to 4:00 on Saturday, or visits online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions to fill out an adoption application.
