San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets of the Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week for August 26 to help animals find their forever homes.

Let us introduce you to Flounder and Dingo Starr…

Meet Flounder…

If you’re looking for a snuggly lovebug to be your new feline best friend, Flounder is your boy! He loves to greet visitors with a loud meow and is so grateful for pets and scratches.

He still has a bit of kitten in him and enjoys playing with toys, but he prefers love and affection over treats. This one-year-old sweetheart is sure to warm up your home immediately and provide you with endless smiles.

Meet Godric Griffindog…

If you come meet this friendly boy, you’re sure to fall in love with him, and he’ll love you right back. Godric Griffindog is a one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who does great on a leash, is very independent, and seems to be potty trained!

If you’re looking for a sweet pup, Godric is sure to make a great addition ot your home and life.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. The shelter is running a “name your price” adoption special, meaning you only pay what you want/can for your new best friend! For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
