San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets Of The Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week for September 9 to help animals find their forever homes.

Let us introduce you to Flounder and Dingo Starr…

Meet Leah…

If you like a cat with personality, Leah is your girl! This beautiful two-year-old tabby has piercing eyes and a vibrant spirit.

She is a little timid at first with new people, but once you earn her trust you’ll get all her attention and affection. We’re sure Leah will make a great addition to a family looking for a new loyal best friend.

Meet Snoopy…

Snoopy is looking for his Charlie Brown! This four-year-old lab has a contagiously playful and energetic spirt, but is extremely trainable – he’s already housetrained and will sit for you!

He is a big boy, so he may be a bit much for small children as he continues to learn all of his manners.

If you’re looking for a new best friend to join you in all your adventures, snoopy may be just the right pup for you!

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. The shelter is running a “name your price” adoption special, meaning you only pay what you want/can for your new best friend!

For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
