San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets Of The Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week to help animals find their forever homes. The following pets are the pets of the week for the week of Christmas 2019.

Let us introduce you to Opal and Dustin Hoffman

Meet Opal…

One look into Opal’s eyes and you’ll be hooked. This sweet kitty knows how to work her looks and will beg for your attention when you walk through the door.

At just four-months-old, Opal is all kitten. She loves to play with toys and will happily take a treat right from your hand.

Opal came to us as a tiny kitten but has grown into such a gorgeous girl. Any family would be lucky to call Opal theirs.

Meet Dustin Hoffman

Such a beautiful boy! Dustin Hoffman is an 11-month-old boy who does well on a leash, knows a few commands and fetches!

He is eager to be your very best friend and will sit for you before you even offer the command.

Dustin really has it all: good looks, smarts, strength and a big heart. We think Dustin will do great in a family with kids or other dogs.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license.

For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
