San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets Of The Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week to help animals find their forever homes.

Let us introduce you to Buttercup and Denny

Meet Buttercup…

A very special kitty looking for a special home! Buttercup is a brave girl who has won over all of our hearts. She’s one year old and came to us as a stray. She has been diagnosed with glaucoma in both eyes and is likely blind.

However, even with limited sight, she loves to play and will purr loudly when you give her some love. This girl is one of a kind!

Meet Denny…

This gorgeous boy is as sweet as can be! Denny loves leisurely strolls and hanging out with his favorite buddies. He has great leash skills, prefers the scenic route in the car, and enjoys sniffing about.

He already knows some of the basics and will gently take treats. If you’re looking for a calm walking buddy, Denny serves it up.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
