Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week to help animals find their forever homes.
Let us introduce you to Diesel and Carson Wells…
All fosters and adoptions are being handled remotely.
NOTE: The shelter’s need remains great to find immediate fosters and adopters for their shelter pets. Adoptions and fosters can be done remotely as their shelter is currently closed to the public.
Meet Diesel…
Photo Credit: Jennifer HayesSome lucky humans will be bringing home an awesome dog if they adopt Diesel! One look at this sweet two-year-old pup and the heart will melt.
Diesel is very tolerant (volunteers were able to get him to play dress up for pictures!) and would do well in a home with another canine pal.
Volunteers say Diesel is a calm, happy boy. He’s also been with the animal shelter for a while.
Meet Carson Wells…
Photo Credit: Jennifer HayesThis little 8-pound short-haired Grey-White (Patch Tabby) is very chill. He is about two years old and searching for the right family to give him a loving home.
His calm demeanor would do quite well in an environment where he is the center of attention. If residents are looking for a buddy to chill with, Carson Wells is a great choice.
All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the animal shelter is operating on a modified schedule.
Emails are likely the best way to contact shelter staff right now.
