Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week to help animals find their forever homes.
Let us introduce you to Macy and Reggie…
All fosters and adoptions are being handled remotely.
Meet Macy…

Macy is a lovable lass who is keen on finding her forever family. After 62 days in the shelter, she’s ready for living her best life in a home where her people can focus all their attention on her.
This 5-year-old pit bull terrier mix, who is about 55 lbs., does very well with men, women and children.
She’s a super sweet girl who has a lot of fun playing. Though she is heartworm positive, her treatment is sponsored. So open the heart and home up to this darling lovey and get ready for tons of love in return.
Meet Reggie…
Photo Credit: Jennifer HayesReggie is an 8-month old short-hair Grey Tabby who is so excited to find a new family! He is about 8 lbs. and enjoys cuddling, naps and being the center of attention.
His beautiful gold eyes will capture your heart while his silky black and white coat will go with everything in the decor.
“Give Reggie the home he deserves and he will repay you with nose kisses and curling up next to you.”
All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the shelter is operating on a modified schedule.
