San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets Of The Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week for August 5 to help animals find their forever homes.

Let us introduce you to Wilma Flintsbone and Vera Fang…

Meet Wilma Flintsbone…

This girl is a total couch potato and so very sweet! Wilma Flintsbone is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. Her age classifies her as a senior dog, but that just means as a family you don’t have to go through the puppy stage!

Wilma will definitely offer you friendly companionship and unconditional love. Come meet this sweet lady and decide if she might be the special dog for you!

Meet Vera Fang…

If you want a calm companion who gets along with everyone, this is your girl.

Vera Fang is a two-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is a bit shy, but loves adults, kids, other dogs and treats!

She’s also picked up a few tricks during her time at the shelter like sit, down, shake, up and crawl! If you spend a little time with Vera, we’re sure you’ll fall in love.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. The shelter is running a “name your price” adoption special, meaning you only pay what you want/can for your new best friend! For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
