San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets Of The Week’

Every week, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter selects the Pets of the Week for August 5 to help animals find their forever homes.

Let us introduce you to Automatic Daffodil and Dingo Starr…

Meet Automatic Daffodil…

This girl’s smile is contagious! Automatic Daffodil is a 10-year-old Shepherd mix who is loving life. She was found with a large mass on her neck that had to be removed, and she’s recovered beautifully.

She still romps around like a puppy and has a zest for life that will rub off on you. She loves playing with people as well as other dogs. Automatic Daffodil would do great with any family!

Meet Dingo Star…

Dingo Starr is a gentle, calm sweetheart! This boy is a one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who can be a little cautious, but once he trusts you his love is overwhelming.

He’s sure to thrive with a loving owner who will give him confidence (and treats!) as he goes out into the world with you. This beautiful boy will make a perfect and loyal best friend.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license.

The shelter is running a “name your price” adoption special, meaning you only pay what you want/can for your new best friend! For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
