The Zumper Austin Metro Area Report analyzed active listings last month across 7 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents.
The Texas one bedroom median rent was $1,114 last month.
Georgetown was the most expensive city with one bedrooms priced at $1,570.
Austin was the next priciest with rent at $1,550.
Round Rock rent increased 2.1% to $1,440 and ranked third.
San Marcos ranked as the most affordable city with one bedrooms priced at $1,040.
Kyle was second with rent at $1,360.
Pflugerville ranked third with rent at $1,430.
Georgetown had the fastest growing rent, up 36.5% since this time last year.
Pflugerville was second with rent climbing 33.6%.
Austin ranked third with rent increasing 31.4%.

Round Rock had the largest monthly rental growth rate, up 2.1%.
Georgetown was second with rent increasing 1.9%.
