San Marcos Seeks Citizen Input On Greenways & Trails Master Plan

The City of San Marcos Engineering Department, in association with the Greenbelt Alliance and Texas State University, has created an online survey to gather trail user’s opinions about the proposed locations of greenways and trails in San Marcos.

The online survey can be accessed at www.sanmarcostx.gov/greenways.

The citizen input gathered by the survey will assist in developing a citywide corridor of interconnected greenways and trails.

Building a greenways and trails system was identified in the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan adopted by the City Council in 2010, and established as one of the key goals in the 2012 Comprehensive Plan.

For more information on the project, please call the City of San Marcos Engineering Department at 512.393.8130 or visit www.sanmarcostx.gov
