San Marcos, Union Pacific RR To Close Intersection For Rail Line Replacement
The Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) is scheduled to close the intersection of Uhland Rd. and Post Rd. on Wednesday, April 10, from 8 AM to 6 PM for a rail line replacement.
Traffic in the area will be detoured to Aquarena Springs Drive. Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection if possible while work is underway.
The City of San Marcos Capital Improvements Project on Mill St. is still ongoing, with traffic control and lane closures to allow cars to travel eastbound on Uhland Rd. or northbound on Mill St. starting at Second St.
