BLANCO GARDENS: Street maintenance on Linda and Bugg Lane and Harper Drive through May 25, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Please park your vehicle off the street or it may be towed at your own expense. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025

120 E. SAN ANTONIO: The alley way between the Marc and Allstate Insurance will be closed for the filming of Texas Music Scene on Tuesday, May 17 from 8 a.m. – midnight. The Marc, 915.731.1294

LAUREL ST/CHARLES AUSTIN INTERSECTION: There will be a right lane west bound closure heading to the Charles Austin intersection to pour sidewalk on the North side of LP 82 on May 17 – 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. TxDOT, 512.619.4676

816 HOPKINS: The alley way between 817 Hopkins and Belvin St. will be under construction for street maintenance through May 20 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting. Alley will be passable to through traffic. City of San Marcos Streets Dept., 512.393.8025

CHARLES AUSTIN/AQUARENA SPRINGS: Charles Austin St. from Aquarena Springs Drive to Jowers Access Road will be closed on May 12 – 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for Texas State University commencement ceremonies.

LAGO VISTA: Curb, sidewalk and driveway maintenance is scheduled in the Hills of Hays subdivision at the 800 block of Lago Vista through May 13 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Mon-Friday, weather permitting. This maintenance is part of the city’s ongoing drainage maintenance program. City of San Marcos Drainage Dept., 512.393.8019

YARRINGTON RD: Two inside south bound main lanes will be closed for maintenance on the Yarrington Bridge May 13-20, weather permitting from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily. TxDOT, 737.600.3137

EAST SAN ANTONIO STREET: Every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Half a block of street closed from the alley to N. LBJ for the Farmers Market on the Square. Main Street Program, 512.393.8430

LONG TERM ROAD PROJECTS:

• HOLLAND/MOORE ST: Moore Street at Holland will be closed until June 9 to correct traffic flow issues and to make enhancements to the Holland Street entrance into the Speck garage; however, the east entrance into Speck Garage on Academy St. will remain open.

• NORTH LBJ FROM CAMARO WAY TO CRADDOCK: This road will be open to two-way traffic, but the lanes will be shifted west to allow space for the City contractor to construct a new lift station on the corner of N. LBJ and Craddock. Project will last until summer 2016. Engineering/Capital Improvements, 512.393.8130
