San Marcos Welcomes Another New Pizzeria

Staff Reports

Marco’s Pizza recently opened a location in San Marcos on Dec. 21, located at 1104 Thorpe Lane, Suite B.

The pizzeria, owned by Cody Barnett and Travis and Ryan Davis aims to bring an “authentic, Italian pizza experience” to residents.

The San Marcos location marks the company’s fifth location in the greater Austin area with more to come by 2022.

“We love the fresh, authentic taste Marco’s has to offer, which is why we’re excited to open the San Marcos location,” said marketing manager Sarah Siggelow. “After trying it for the first time, we knew Marco’s was better than any other pizza brand we’ve had, and we’re confident our community will feel the same.”

Customers will have the option of a mix of classic pizzas, specialty pizzas, salads, subs on Italian white bread and more.

Marco’s offers carryout, delivery, app, and online ordering services.

The restaurant in San Marcos has put several safety measures in place at the stores such as contact-free delivery, curbside carryout, extra cleaning/sanitizing measures.

Employees are required to wear masks throughout their shifts, and health checks are done daily.
