Hays County Reports Sixth COVID-related Fatality

Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX – Hays County Local Health Department today reports its sixth COVID-related fatality since the beginning of the pandemic. The individual was a San Marcos woman in her 70s.

The Department also reports 54 new cases of COVID-19 and one new hospitalization.

Epidemiologist Eric Schneider said the demographic breakdown of today’s new cases will be included in Monday’s update.
