San Marcos Wraps Up February With ‘4th Flea’

“Each market brings an interesting mix of booths, regular and new shoppers and lots of great conversation,” said Clay DeStefano executive director.

San Marcos, TX – 4th Flea, downtown San Marcos’ only monthly indoor and outdoor community flea market, is set to take place this Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Price Center.

Vendors and participants will enjoy the wide array of items such as traditional furniture, clothing and household items to food, essential oils, artwork, plants, custom creations, and more. Admission is free and open to all. The Center offers a variety of drinks for purchase including coffee, soft drinks and water.

“Each market brings an interesting mix of booths, regular and new shoppers and lots of great conversation,” said Clay DeStefano executive director. “Given the forecast for rain on Saturday, our indoor booths should prove popular.”

Interested in participating? 4th Flea booths are available, welcomed and encouraged for both private and retail vendors. Multi-family booths welcome. Vendors pay $20 for outdoor booths and $30 for indoor booths. Participants will need to bring their own tents, tables and necessary display equipment. Set up is from 8-9 a.m. on the day of the event.  A limited number of ‘6 tables are available for rent at $10 each.

Proceeds from booth rentals benefit the Price Center, which is operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. For more information about the 4th Flea, including reserving booth space, please call 512-392-2900, stop by the Center at 222 W. San Antonio St. Mon. – Fri., 9-5 p.m., or visit price-center.org.
