Scott and White Health Plan, a part of Baylor Scott & White Health, was named one of the 2019 Best Insurance Companies for Medicare Advantage by U.S. News & World Report. The company was one of only two Medicare providers in Texas to earn this designation.
The new ratings are a resource for Medicare beneficiaries and their families searching for the best coverage options during the annual open-enrollment period, which began October 15 and runs through December 7, 2018.
This annual “honor roll” of Medicare providers highlights insurance companies that consistently offer highly-rated health coverage to Medicare beneficiaries. Insurance companies were recognized if either their Medicare Advantage or their Part D plans received an average rating of 4.5 stars or higher across all plans in a given state.
“We are honored to be recognized on this prestigious list for the outstanding service we are committed to offering our members, employers, and community each day,” said Jeff Ingrum, President and CEO of Scott and White Health Plan. “This recognition is a direct reflection of our dedication to provide convenient access to high-quality, coordinated patient care with an exceptional experience. We continue to introduce new insurance plans, technology and services to meet the needs of those that we serve.”
