Season Ticket Packages Announced For Bobcat Volleyball

The first home Sun Belt Conference action will be September 22 against South Alabama. The Bobcats will also play host to TCU from the Big 12 Conference at 6 p.m. October 10.

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State Athletics Ticket Office has announced season ticket packages for the upcoming 2017 Bobcat volleyball campaign.

All tickets are general admission, and they are on sale now for $40. Special groups such as Bobcat Club donors, Texas State faculty and staff, recent alumni (2013-17) and T-Association members can receive a special discounted rate of $30 per season ticket.

Patrons can renew their seats by logging into their online account at txstatebobcats.com/tickets, calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 512-245-2272, or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office at Bobcat Stadium during normal business hours (M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Single-match tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. August 3.

The home portion of the 2017 schedule is slated to begin Sept. 7-9 with the annual Creeds & Crests Classic. Season ticket holders will be treated to matches featuring SMU, UTSA, UMass Lowell and Houston Baptist.

The Bobcats are coming off a 2016 campaign that saw the team post a 21-12 overall record with a 13-3 record in the SBC. TXST coach Karen Chisum is set to enter her 38th season as the helm, and she has an all-time record of 843-533-3. She is the second active longest-tenured coach across all three NCAA divisions. She is also currently the fifth winningest active head coach in all of NCAA Division I, and she is the 11th winningest NCAA Division I coach all-time.
