SAN MARCOS – With the new season at Bobcat Stadium quickly approaching, season tickets for the 2022 Texas State football season, presented by H-E-B, will go on sale starting Saturday (April 9) at TXST.com.
All season ticket prices remain unchanged or were lowered from last year. The general admission seating area had its season ticket prices decreased by more than 15%, giving fans more affordable options to support the Bobcats for the entire 2022 campaign.
Season tickets start as low as $80 for all six games for the general public and $70 for special groups, which include Texas State faculty and staff, recent Texas State alumni (’17-’21), Bobcat Club members, and “T” Association members.

In addition to more affordable options for nearly 25% of Bobcat stadium’s seating, the Priority Reserved section (sections 101-105) has undergone a major renovation with new fixed seating. The wider, more fan-friendly chairbacks keep Bobcat fans close to the action and behind the Texas State bench.
For returning season ticket holders, the deadline to renew tickets is Friday, May 20. Renewals can be done over the phone with the Texas State Athletics Ticket Office by calling 512-245-2272.
Premium seating options are available as well. Fans can enjoy Bobcat football in the Dan and Cindee Diepenhortst Champions Club, Richard A. Castro Legacy Club, and the Paul and Pat Gowens Family Pavilion. Mini plans and single-game tickets will go on sale during the summer.
Texas State is nearing the end of its spring practice schedule and will hold its annual Spring Football Game & Fan Fest presented by Bud Light on Saturday at 11:30 am. The game at Bobcat Stadium is free to all fans.
The home season opener for the Bobcats is set for Friday, September 9 against FIU. Texas State starts the season at Nevada on Saturday, September 3.
