Second Movies In Your Park Moves To Strahan Arena

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Services division will continue its summer Movies in Your Park series with a special screening of “Trolls” at Texas State University’s Strahan Arena, 106 Charles Austin Drive, on Tuesday, June 25.

This event is free to the public. Activities will begin at 6:30 PM and the movie will start at 7:00 PM. Concessions will be available for purchase. Glass, alcohol, Styrofoam, smoking, and pets are prohibited at Strahan Arena.

Parking is available in the parking lot in front of the University Events Center off Charles Austin Drive and in the lot directly across the street.

Movies in Your Park will return to San Marcos Plaza Park on Tuesday, July 9 with activities at 7:30 PM followed by “The Boss Baby” at 8:45.

The remaining movies are:

  • July 16 – “Kung Fu Panda 3”
  • July 23 – “The Grinch”
  • July 30 – “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” (Teen Night)
