Send Your Love From Kissing Alley for Valentine’s Day

Residents and visitors can drop Valentine’s Day letters and cards, stamped and addressed to their valentine, in the mailbox in Kissing Alley…

The San Marcos Main Street Program has kicked off their Love Downtown Campaign by opening the Valentines Mailbox in Kissing Alley.

Now through Feb. 14, they will be accepting letters to be marked and sent from Kissing Alley in honor of Valentine’s Day.

Residents and visitors can drop Valentine’s Day letters and cards, stamped and addressed to their valentine, in the mailbox in Kissing Alley at 121 E. Hopkins through Feb. 14.  The Main Street staff will stamp “Sent from Kissing Alley” on the envelope and mail it to the designated loved one.

The mailbox will be up until Valentine’s Day, but Main Street encourages participants to send in their letters by Feb. 2 to ensure they arrive on time.

Main Street also invites residents and visitors to visit the eclectic shops downtown, make a reservation for a Valentine’s date night at a downtown eatery, or get inspired by the arts in one of the downtown galleries.

Visit the Main Street Office website at www.sanmarcostx.gov/mainstreet or browse the Downtown San Marcos Facebook page for more info on planning Valentine’s Day downtown.
