SAN MARCOS – The Texas Department of Transportation will close SH 123 at FM 110 in Hays County this week.
The closure will allow crews to safely place bridge beams over the roadway, weather permitting.
On Thursday, Oct. 1 and Friday, Oct. 2, there will be various single-lane closures on SH 123 at the FM 110 intersection from 8:30 AM – 5 PM each day.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8:30 AM – 5 PM, crews will fully close SH 123 at FM 110. Southbound traffic will be detoured around the bridgework via FM 110 and Rattler Road.
Northbound traffic will be detoured via FM 110 and Wonder World Drive.
Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closures. Officials are asking drivers to use extra caution when traveling through the area.
