Crews will be making repairs to a culvert that was damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
AUSTIN – Starting Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 9 a.m., SH 21 in Hays County will be closed, so the Texas Department of Transportation can repair a culvert damaged by flood waters from Hurricane Harvey. The closure is expected to last through Monday, Sept 11, weather permitting.
All lanes of SH 21 will be closed between High Road and FM 2001. The closure will run from Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Monday, Sept.11, weather permitting. Eastbound traffic will be detoured at High Road and westbound traffic will be detoured at FM 2001. Detour signs will be placed to alert drivers where to turn. (See attached map.)

Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closure. Motorists should allow extra time to travel through this area during the affected hours. TxDOT asks the traveling public to be patient and remain aware when traveling through the work zone.
