Silent Art Session Planned For Next Making It Class At Price Center

San Marcos, TX – The March 3 offering of the new ‘Making It’ classes at the Price Center is a special one focusing on meditative art via a silent art creation session.

Local artist Veronique Hahn will lead an interactive art group activity during which participants will create a mixed media piece while serving as one another’s support and creative consultant by silently guiding and making suggestions by non-verbal means.

The class will be held from 6 to 8 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Center.

No one will talk during the session – only non-verbal, visual communication may be used. Soothing music will play throughout the session.

At the end of the session, a group discussion about the finished works and the experience will take place with light refreshments as accompaniment.

The monthly ‘Making It’ sessions are provided by the Seaton Foundation. The classes are open to all and pre-registration is required.

The Seaton Foundation is a local 501(c)3 non-profit grounded in the belief that people can experience continued growth when provided with appropriate supports and opportunities that promote purpose, meaningful relationships, and being part of a community.

The monthly ‘Making It’ Classes, are limited to no more than 12 participants, and a $15 fee is required in advance.

For more information, including reserving your spot, please call 512-392-2900 or stop by the Center at 222 W. San Antonio St. Mon. thru Fri., 9 to 5 PM.
