Small Business Service Provider Grants Now Available Through The Governor’s Office

Service providers such as chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and small business-serving nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply.

The Office of the Governor is soliciting applications for the Small Business Service Provider (SBSP) Grant program. This grant will enable Texas-based small business service providers to enhance and diversify projects and activities benefiting the State’s small businesses.

The grants will afford small business service providers a greater degree of flexibility and creativity in their portfolio of offerings to small businesses.

We are inviting partnership and participation from every region in Texas. Service providers such as chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and small business-serving nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply.

The Office of the Governor may award a total of up to $300,000 in this round of the SBSP grant program.

The due date for applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM CST on June 12, 2017.

Please download the Application and Proposed Budget Worksheet and submit your completed application by email to ecodevfinance@gov.texas.gov.
