SMCISD Rolling Out New Communication Tool: “Let’s Talk!”

SMCISD Rolling Out New Communication Tool: “Let’s Talk!”

Someone once said that every good conversation starts with good listening. San Marcos CISD is demonstrating our commitment to listening to students, parents, employees, and the community through a new communication channel called Let’s Talk! By connecting through the Let’s Talk! icon on the district website (www.smcisd.net) anyone can submit questions, comments, concerns, and hopefully some compliments any time, from any device beginning May 1, 2015.

Visitors to the site will be able to pick from several topics currently generating interest, or go directly to a particular campus or department.  There is the option of leaving contact information if you want a response or remaining anonymous. If you leave an email address, you will receive an answer within two business days.

Superintendent Mark E. Eads says, “Our district believes strongly in building relationships of trust and open conversations. The implementation of Let’s Talk! is our commitment to listen to all stakeholders.”

Dr. Greg Rodriguez, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability, is heading up the project.

Let’s Talk! is the product of the nationally-recognized,  independent technology and communications firm K12 Insight currently used in over 300 school districts.
