San Marcos CISD hosted a reception in the campus library for the incoming principal of De Zavala Elementary, Elena Villanueva, on Tuesday afternoon June 7. Many district staff members joined De Zavala teachers, parents, and students in welcoming her to San Marcos. Villanueva expressed her excitement in joining the De Zavala team, and said that she looks forward to continuing partnerships and making new ones.
